You are not difficult. The menu has 400 items.

By evening, choosing dinner feels like negotiating a trade agreement. The brain has spent all day deciding, switching and suppressing impulses; apparently it now objects to pasta. Decision fatigue is what limited cognitive capacity looks like after repeated choice. It is not proof that you secretly enjoy making everything complicated.

The actual problem

Save judgement for decisions that deserve it. Use defaults for meals, clothes and routine admin; limit options; decide important things earlier. A smaller menu is not a smaller life. It is fewer committee meetings inside your head.
